Special Event: Dallas Arts District Summer Block Party

June is National Pride Month, and the Dallas Arts District is closing the streets for the annual Summer Block Party in celebration of arts and culture in the LGBTQ community. The event includes the Dallas Museum of Art's Late Night, 'Til Midnight at the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Crow Collection of Asian Art. 

This family-friendly event features live concerts, guided tours, local brews, movie screenings and much more inside and outside of the museums. Summer Block Party is free and lasts until midnight.

Outdoor activities also include face painting, beats by Durty Laundry, a free photo booth, a collaborative mural and local makers.

At the DMA's Late Night, children's activities include Drag Queen Story Hour with Cassie Nova, who will read a selection of children’s books that celebrate difference, embrace diversity, and build empathy. Click here for a full schedule of activities.

Musical entertainment at the Nasher performed by This Will Destroy You. The long-running instrumentalists will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their eponymous 2008 studio album by performing their record in its entirety.

Stop by the Crow Collection and experience Earthly Splendor: Korean Ceramics from the Collection, and shop the summer sale at the Lotus Shop open until midnight.

Note: General admission to the Dallas Museum of Art Late Night is $10 public, $5 students and free for DMA members and children 11 and under. Entry to the Block Party, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Crow Collection of Asian Art is free.
